Computer aided learning is an integral part of BIA. Keeping up with technologically advanced time,a fully equipped computer lab has been built (in collaboration with NUT) for the children so that they could explore the subjects of their desire. The lab also has broad band Internet access which is shared with the children under strict supervision. Our aim is to enable and empower students to visualize their subjects better by using computer for hands-on learning. NIIT Mathematics Lab fosters mathematical awareness, skill building and positive attitudes. It offers Multiple Teaching and Learning Aids, comprising of Technology Applications, Videos, Measuring Instruments, Tables and Charts, to students on the basis of three pillars – ‘Imagine, Investigate and Interact’. It offers mathematical concepts to verify mathematical facts and theorems using technological tools as well as hands-on activities that include a wide variety of mathematical models.
BIGI RoboGenius Lab is based on the “Learning by Doing” methodology, encouraging students to develop problem solving, decision making and scientific inquiry skills and comprehend abstract concepts in a play way method. It allows them to investigate, plan, test and implement their ideas thus focusing on application of the CS‐STEM concepts and themes. Students are engaged in dynamic activities and by using the experience, they become the protagonists of their own learning. Students discover an exciting and important connection with real world applications, an experience that is vital for success in the 21st century. It is integrated within the school time table and covers topics in the curriculum as per CBSE, ICSE and state boards.
Montessori lab is an area exclusively set apart for the holistic development of the child. We make sure that the child absorbs all the concepts taught in the classroom and remembers them with the help of scientifically designed activities. Montessori activities are chiefly divided into four categories: Exercise of Practical Life (EPL), Sensorial, Arithmetic and Language. The lab consists of objects as the Pink Tower (Sensorial), Spindle boxes (Arithmetic), Sand paper tracing (Alphabet), Color Tablets (Sensorial) and so on to name a few. As the child starts exploring, we facilitate the little mind with activities pertaining to Arithmetic, Linguistic and day to day activities of Practical Life such as tying shoe laces, fastening buttons, and so on.
Art Studio is a venue in the school always busy that attracts every student of the school where every small scribbling of a student is trained to become a traditional or modern art or blend of both or other forms of visual art. The Art studio caters to the needs of drawing and painting skills of students by conducting classes as part of co-scholastic areas in the curriculum.
The school has a number of dedicated staff to develop and enhance the performing art skills of students in a unique Dance Studio. Performing art is amalgamated in the curriculum and students are trained constantly throughout the year to be proficient in todays’ competitive world that considers dance as of the multitasking prerequisite skill.
Every child has an inherent ability to become a great swimmer. To bring out this ability we have separate pools for both junior and senior students that are ozonated (chlorine free), thermostatic (temperature controlled), hygienic, beautiful and designed keeping in mind all necessary safety measures. Our specially trained coaches are instrumental in the achievements of our students.
The play area facilitates children with play things such as slides, swings, mini travelers, colourful see-saws, mini basketball game, and so on. The ground is cushioned with mats which keep the children from getting bruised or hurt during stretching, running, jumping, bending, clapping, etc. The child finds an opportunity to relax its body and in turn its ever curious mind. By constant interaction between the instructor and other fellow students, they learn and enjoy activities in group such as Recreation games, Colour ball game, Circle game, Ball and balance game, Throwing the ball, etc., which increases their interest levels even in the other subjects.
Sports inculcate discipline, self-confidence, team-spirit, sense of belonging, pride, achievement and self-esteem. A very few schools provide Indoor Stadium facilities today. BIGI is one of them. Here students are taught and can play Billiards, Air Hockey, Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Swimming and Martial Arts.

The sports and Games facilitates within the campus instil a spirit of sportsmanship among students. Fresh air which contains more oxygen than the air in a confined room, relaxes their body & mind which will help them to increase concentration of their mind. Also it helps them to improve their immunity and develop personality and make them to acquire leadership qualities. Students are offered facilities for sports such as Basket ball, Throw ball, Volleyball, Badminton, Hockey, Netball, Cricket etc. Inter- School and inter house tournaments are conducted annually.
